A 5.6 magnitude quake shook Antofagasta (Chile) on Saturday, according to information from the website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (CSEM).
The earthquake's epicenter was recorded at a depth of 53 kilometers and 185 km east-northeast of Antofagasta, where 309,000 people live.
No casualties or damage were reported.
