Azerbaijan Airlines has appointed AVIAREPS as its general sales agent (GSA) in Europe and the United Arab Emirates, Ednews informs, citing the company.
Effective now, AVIAREPS will support the airline with a full range of sales and ticketing services in Austria, Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the UK and the UAE.
Chingiz Mursalov, Head of Aviation Sales for AZAL said: “This is an important step in the airline’s strategy to grow and strengthen our position in the international air travel market. This collaboration will help us to reinforce our position in these competing markets.”
AZAL is the flag carrier of Azerbaijan with a hub in Baku. The airline offers connections to 72 destinations in Europe, Asia, and North America. The airline currently operates 26 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, including one Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
As GSA for Azerbaijan Airlines, AVIAREPS will help enhance the airline’s presence in these key markets.
AVIAREPS has 67 offices in 61 countries around the world.
