The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Elon Musk's SpaceX launched four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) in the seventh joint mission. SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket launched the Crew Dragon capsule Endurance, which previously flew NASA's Crew-3 and Crew-5 missions to and from the ISS.
The Crew-7 consists of astronauts from NASA, the European Space Agency, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, and Russia's Roscosmos. They will stay at the ISS for around six months, where they will "conduct science and technology demonstrations to prepare for human exploration beyond low-Earth orbit and to benefit humanity on Earth," SpaceX said.
