North Korea announced on Sunday that its citizens located outside of the country will be allowed to return home.
The move represents a shift in Pyongyang's coronavirus policy after over three years as the Korean Central News Agency reported that the national emergency epidemic prevention headquarters specifically noted an "eased" COVID-19 situation globally in the announcement of the new measure.
People who return will be in a one-week quarantine.
