French President Emmanuel Macron insisted on Monday that BRICS – comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa – and its efforts to create a new world order (NWO) cannot be underestimated.
Speaking at a press conference, Macron stressed that Europe faces what he described as a great danger as its international status seemingly declines while other powers rise. He insisted that the conflict in Ukraine began, meaning that "war returned" to the Old Continent, because Russia violated international law.
Macron also noted that another danger Europe is facing is the situation in Africa due to the "rising anger" against it. Earlier this month, France's ambassador to Niger Sylvain Itte, was given 48 hours to leave the coup-hit country. At the conference, Macron insisted that Itte will stay in Niger despite the junta's pressure.
