Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko discussed "important topics" about the region and the world, the Belarusian government press service said Wednesday.
"On August 30, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko held several telephone conversations with foreign leaders. With Russian President Vladimir Putin, issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed, as well as topics of the current regional and international situation," the statement said.
In addition, the two leaders also discussed issues related to the economic agenda and the development of cooperation between the two countries.
