Romanian Defense Minister Angel Tilvar (pictured) told A3CNN on Wednesday that parts of a Russian drone fell on the country's territory.
Earlier this week, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that an unspecified number of Shahed drones detonated on Romanian territory following Moscow's attack on the Ukrainian Danube port of Izmail, but Bucharest had denied the claims at the time.
Romanian President Klaus Iohannis later said that a Russian drone crashed "very close" to the country's border, around 800 meters from it, but insisted "there was no part, and no drone and no other part of any device that arrived in Romania."
