The Boeing Company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Brian West announced on Thursday that the airplane maker will deliver between 400 and 450 units of its 737 model this year, which is on the "lower end" of its target for 2023.
Speaking at an event organized by Jefferies Group LLC, West said that Boeing discovered an issue linked to fastener holes that help keep cabinet pressure at a sufficient level. The CFO added that the company expects a free cash flow of between $3 billion and $5 billion in 2023.
Boeing previously announced that an issue discovered with the 737 Max will delay the deliveries of that model.
