United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken met on Monday with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly being held in New York.
At the beginning of the meeting, Blinken remarked that the whole world is expecting the two powerhouses to "responsibly manage" their relationship, stressing that Washington is devoted to "doing just that."
""From the perspective of the United States, face-to-face diplomacy is the best way to deal with areas where we disagree, and also the best way to explore areas of cooperation between us," Blinken concluded.
