The United States House Republicans plan to carry out the first impeachment inquiry hearing dealing with US President Joe Biden and his alleged abuse of power and corruption next Thursday, September 28, Fox News reported on Tuesday citing sources familiar with the matter.
According to the sources, however, the hearing is not expected to cover any new evidence, and will rather be a review of the existing information. The sources further added that the goal is to conclude the inquiry before the primary season.
Meanwhile, Fox also learned that the House Oversight Committee is looking to subpoena the bank records of the president's son, Hunter Biden, and his brother, James Biden, this week.
