Syria's Aleppo International Airport has once again found itself on the Israeli military's target list, the Syrian Ministry of Defense shared.
In a statement, the ministry said that Israeli warplanes bombed the airport's runway. This was the second attack of this kind in the past 48 hours.
Director of Civil Aviation in Syria Bassem Mansour told local media that following the strikes, the airport was put out of service. Meanwhile, Israeli Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi said in a statement the attack was carried out in retaliation to the missile launch from Syria.
