German Chancellor Olaf Scholz condemned on Thursday Russian President Vladimir Putin's remarks regarding the civilian casualties in Gaza.
"I am more than outraged when hearing that the Russian president is warning everywhere that there could be victims, civilian victims of military confrontations. It doesn't get any more cynical than that," Scholz exclaimed in his speech to the country's parliament.
Putin previously labeled the blast that hit a hospital in Gaza killing hundreds of people a "tragedy" and a "catastrophe," and urged for the conflict to end as soon as possible.
