French President Emmanuel Macron and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will pay a two-day visit to Israel on Monday and Tuesday, the latter country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced on Sunday.
The office said in a written statement that both leaders are scheduled to have a meeting with Netanyahu. Meanwhile, Rutte's team said he will hold talks with Palestinian National Authority (PNA) President Mahmoud Abbas.
Macron and Rutte will thus follow a series of Western leaders to visit Israel to show their support for that country amid its clashes with Hamas, including United States President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
