Ednews reports via Russia's Defense Ministry that around 12:30 local time, nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted by Moscow's forces in their path to "threaten" the stability of the nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye (ZNPP).
On its Telegram channel, the ministry said the drones were "copter-type" and were flying near Energodar city. Minutes earlier, it was said that Russia "defeated manpower and equipment of the 33rd and 65th mechanized brigades" from the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Rabotino in the same region.
Previously, Russian media said that Kiev's forces were planning to seize the Zaporozhye plant.
