South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor (pictured) on Sunday called for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In an opinion piece, Pandor expressed the expectation that the International Criminal Court (ICC) should issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu. She urged the ICC prosecutor to expedite the investigation into potential breaches of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide in the context of the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.
Many world leaders, including Trurkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan, promised to take action to bring Israel's human rights violations before the ICC.
