Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said that Europe "risks once again becoming a springboard for military confrontation." He said Europe, together with Ukraine, is "consistently being drawn" into conflict by the United States.
Nebenzya criticized the European Union's efforts to advance Ukraine's accession process, claiming that "there is no 'European future' for a thoroughly corrupt, criminal Ukraine." He also said he feels "sorry for the unfortunate Ukrainians who are sent to die for the geopolitical interests of the West."
