Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili supported the residents of Tbilisi protesting against the law on foreign agents, Ednews reports.
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili wrote about this in her “X” account.
The Georgian leader accused the police of arresting people who, in her opinion, protect the country's European future.
She explained that special forces with water cannons and gas guns targeted a massive peaceful demonstration of civil society in Tbilisi against the “Russian law.” Zurabishvili emphasized that arrests are continuing.
"Georgia will not succumb to Sovietization!" - the president concluded.
