The election headquarters of Saeed Jalili, a conservative political candidate in Iran's presidential elections and the representative of Iran's supreme leader in the Supreme National Security Council, was set on fire yesterday evening.
Ednews reports that a video shared on social media shows a young protester throwing an incendiary substance at the headquarters.
The incident occurred around 18:00, and the young man fled the scene immediately afterward. While no serious injuries were reported, the headquarters sustained damage with traces of the incendiary substance evident at the site.
