Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will pay a one-day visit to Ukraine on June 11, citing the official website of the Serbian presidency.
According to the statement, President Vučić is scheduled to participate in the Ukraine–Southeastern Europe Summit, which will bring together leaders from the region to discuss key issues related to regional security, political cooperation, and European integration. The summit aims to strengthen dialogue between Ukraine and the countries of Southeastern Europe in the context of ongoing regional and global challenges, especially in light of the continuing war in Ukraine.
During the summit, Aleksandar Vučić is expected to hold bilateral meetings with other participating leaders, as well as engage in discussions on topics such as energy security, humanitarian support, infrastructure development, and post-war recovery. The event reflects Serbia's intention to maintain a balanced foreign policy and engage with both Eastern and Western partners while contributing to peace and stability in the region.
Vučić’s visit also carries symbolic importance, as it marks one of the few high-level Serbian delegations to Ukraine since the start of the conflict, signaling Belgrade’s interest in deepening dialogue and exploring diplomatic solutions.
The summit is seen as part of broader efforts to reinforce unity and cooperation among European nations in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and regional stability.
