"Positional battles continue here (in the Bakhmut direction - ed.). The enemy tries, to no avail, to try to counterattack as well. On this day, a total of three combat clashes took place in this direction, the enemy hit our positions 249 times using various types of artillery, and carried out two air raids. We, in turn, continued to counterattack wherever we had opportunities, and advanced from 250 to 700 meters on the flanks, pushing the enemy back. At the same time, 66 invaders were killed and 83 were wounded, three were captured. Two enemy infantry fighting vehicles, two amphibious assault vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, two Nona self-propelled mortars, a D-30 howitzer, an anti-tank missile complex, and a field ammunition depot were also destroyed," spokesman said.
Cherevatyi added that the Ukrainian military is trying to defeat the superior forces of the enemy due to own skills.
