Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova called on governments around the world to condemn the Ukrainian drone attack on the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, located in western Russia, with one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashing into a nuclear waste warehouse and causing damage to its facade.
Two other drones fell on the complex of administrative buildings, the ministry's spokesperson pointed out. According to preliminary information, the UAVs used to attack the nuclear plant on October 26 "contained components supplied by Western countries."
"What happened proves that there are no restrictions for the criminal Kiev regime, including committing acts of nuclear terrorism," Zakharova said, underscoring that the attack could have ended in a "full-scale nuclear disaster" that would have affected many countries in the region.
