On June 26, as part of a visit to the People's Republic of China, an Azerbaijani delegation visited the China Media Group and the China Communication University.

The meeting at the China Media Group focused on discussions regarding information policy, digital transformation, multilingual broadcasting, and modern technological approaches. Both sides exchanged ideas on strengthening international media cooperation, expanding content exchange, and exploring technological innovations.

At the China Communication University, the delegation discussed with university leadership the prospects for collaboration in media education, professional training, internship opportunities, and joint academic initiatives. The potential for future collaborative projects and platforms was also highlighted.

The delegation comprises Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency; Ismat Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council; Kamran Hasanov, Head of the Media Sector of the Department for Work with Non-Governmental Organizations and Communication at the Presidential Administration; Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC); and Rufat Hamzayev, Executive Director of AnewZ TV channel.
