Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Italian Ambassador to Baku Luca di Gianfrancesco.
Heydarov recalled that relations between Azerbaijan and Italy are built on the principles of friendship and mutual respect, and that multilateral relations between the two countries are rapidly developing.
The minister informed the ambassador in detail about the work carried out in the country in the field of emergency management and the activities of the ministry. He also spoke about the prospects for cooperation between the relevant authorities of Azerbaijan and Italy in combating emergencies.
The Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan noted that relations between the two countries are constantly developing. He spoke about the mutual benefit of relations between the relevant authorities in the framework of preventing emergency situations and eliminating their consequences.
