Azerbaijan records coronavirus cases below 100 for first time since may

For the first time since May 13, there have been less than 100 cases of a new strain of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Azerbaijan, EDNews.net reports citing APA.

As for May 13, 65 cases of new coronavirus infection were registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 54 people were treated and 2 died.

During the last 24 hours 87 more cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 308 people have been recovered and discharged from the hospital, 2 patients died.

The number of people infected with the novel coronavirus in Azerbaijan has grown to 33568. A total of 30364 people over the entire period have recovered from the illness and been discharged from hospitals. 490 people died of coronavirus over the entire period, while there are 2714  active coronavirus patients.
