Starting September 29, 2026, Europe's largest low-cost airline, Wizz Air, will launch direct scheduled flights on the Bratislava-Baku-Bratislava route, EDnews reports referring to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
Flights will operate twice a week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The launch of this new route will further strengthen air links between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, create additional opportunities for tourism and business travel, and provide passengers with more convenient access to one of the most promising destinations in Central Europe. This new route will be another important step in the development of Heydar Aliyev International Airport's international route network.
Flights are already available on Wizz Air's official website and through other sales channels.
