Olena Zelenska was born in Kryvyi Rih on February 16, 1978. She and her future husband were schoolmates, but they were not acquainted. “I was frankly and aggressively against the beginning of this project. Because it is a very difficult project, even not a project but another direction in life. But I was possibly protected. However, Volodymyr, according to her, is a very self-motivated person and it is pointless to resist his decision. Therefore, Olena not just resigned herself to his decision but strongly supports the husband. She was seen in his headquarters many times, however, she does not participate in the election campaign of Zelensky.
“Of course, within the talks during the family dinner, I can express my opinion about everything. But I think that does not matter,” Olena specified.
At the same time, Olena Zelenska states that she does not think about the status of the first lady as she is afraid to gain in advance.
