United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken revealed on Wednesday, during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Ukraine, that Washington will give an additional $2 billion in foreign military financing to Kiev, Ednews reports.
"We'll put this together, in its first-ever Enterprise Fund. It has three components. One is to provide weapons today. Two is to focus on investing in Ukraine's defense industrial base. [Three is] to help Ukraine purchase military equipment from other countries not just the US," Blinken detailed.
The US official stressed that the allies are "rushing [to deliver] ammunition, armored vehicles, missiles, [and] air defenses to the front lines" and protect both soldiers and civilians.
