United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken (pictured) and Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud discussed efforts that are being made in order to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement, Ednews informs.
In a phone call held on Wednesday, the two officials "continued discussions about how to establish governance, security, and reconstruction in the post-conflict period in a way that builds lasting peace and security, as well as steps to further greater regional integration."
Furthermore, the politicians addressed the commitment to de-escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, according to the statement.
