“At a time when wars and threats have caused a number of serious problems at the international level, the Global Forum held in Baku is very significant. Discussions held at the forum which has been organized for ten years should be considered important in terms of finding solutions to many conflicts.”

Member of Parliament said that experience shows the intellectual potential of the Baku platform is also increasing year by year:
“Influential and experienced politicians of the world are making the exchange of views on the processes of concern. Crucial problems that threaten the global world order, including prospects for ensuring security and peace in the world are considered this year as well. Conflicts, threats, and post-pandemic issues are being discussed. The participants share their ideas about the future of Europe, explore the source of populism and extremism, and determine ways to effectively fight against it. The ideas voiced in Baku to plan the future can also be effective recommendations for world leaders.”
“At the same time, the Global Forum is an substantial platform for delivering post-conflict realities in the South Caucasus region to the world. To mention it specifically, representatives of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center visited the liberated areas. They witnessed the destruction in Fuzuli and Shusha which is truly a sign of barbarism, urbicide, culturicide, and ecocide”, K. Nurullayeva noted.
According to her, at the same time, one of the main messages delivered by President Ilham Aliyev at the Forum is that it is the high time for peace in the region. "Immediately after the end of the war in November 2020, we took the initiative to start peace negotiations and presented five famous principles that will form the basis of a peace treaty with Armenia. We hope that the international participants trying to mediate will encourage Armenia not to miss the opportunity. They have lost the chance to become an independent country. They have become completely dependent, colonized by another country and now possibly by other countries. Thus, due to their aggression against us, they missed the chance to be truly independent and build their own future," - our head of state mentioned. President Ilham Aliyev once again highlighted that the current situation is the last chance for Armenia.
“In other words, the reality is that at present there is a chance for Armenia to treat its neighbors as normal neighbors. Azerbaijan does not want any other war. Because there is no obstacle in achieving peace. Armenia should correctly evaluate the available opportunity. To sum up, as President Ilham Aliyev emphasized, through the Baku Global Forum, we are trying to contribute to making our world more peaceful and safe”, MP stressed.
