During the period of 2005-2008, the list of missing persons was summarized, and as a result, more than 1000 cases were opened based on the list presented by the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, it was said at the event the ICRC office in Baku held, Ednews reports.
"Detailed information was collected regarding more than 3410 missing persons until the end of 2010. Later, ICRC presented the collected information to the State Commission. With the support of the State Commission, ICRC collected 10,800 biological reference samples from families of missing persons from 2014 to the end of 2022 and presented to the related state institutions," the information indicates.
