A mine explosion occurred in the Syrkhavand village of Aghdam district, recently liberated from occupation, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).
According to Ednews, The incident involved ANAMA employee Yusubov Hasil Eldar oglu, born in 1997, who was on duty when the anti-personnel mine detonated. The explosion resulted in the amputation of his left leg from the ankle.
"The injured employee was evacuated to the district hospital. His condition is satisfactory," stated the report.
