The Rome Statute entered into force in Armenia, as the country’s President Vahagn Khachaturian approved the law on the ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Court of Justice (The Hague Tribunal), Ednews reports.
It should be noted that the countries that have adopted the Rome Statute undertake to implement the decisions of the International Court of Justice.
The International Court of Justice (The Hague Tribunal) accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of war crimes on the territory of Ukraine and issued an arrest warrant for him.
Since the document has entered into force, Putin should be arrested and handed over to the Hague Tribunal in case he visits the territory of Armenia.
