A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck Chile, data provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) showed on Tuesday.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 41 kilometers near the coast of Atacama, and 81 km west-south-west from the city of Vallenar, with a population of 52,000.
No possible damage or casualties have been reported so far.
