Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urged French President Emmanuel Macron to intervene in the conflict with Russia by calling Russian President Vladimir Putin and asking him to stop the war, Ednews reports.
Zelensky expressed concern about the presence of tanks, airplanes, and helicopters in various cities and regions, and the involvement of special forces and heavy military equipment.
He estimated that thousands of civilians have been killed in the conflict, and expressed uncertainty about safety in the region due to the presence of the Russian army.
