Latvia has started installing the anti-tank barriers on the border with Russia. Their stockpiles were shown on social networks of MEP Neil Ushakov, Ednews reports.
The video was shot near Zilupe, at the approach to the checkpoint “Terehovo”.
Latvia, together with other Baltic countries is creating the so-called Baltic line of defense on the border with Russia and Belarus. It involves the construction of fortified defensive positions and various obstacles, including anti-tank ditches, “dragon's teeth” and mining of the border area.
