The US Embassy in Israel has instructed all its employees and their family members to remain at their current locations until further notice.
EDnews informs, citing The Times of Israel, that this directive comes amid rising tensions in the region.
The directive notes that US citizens in Israel should also locate the nearest safe haven and be aware that missile, drone and other security threats occur without warning.
Earlier, embassy personnel were advised not to travel beyond the cities of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Be'er Sheva.
