The 7th President of the United States had very busy terms and obliged to make some hard decisions. "Indian removal act", recognizing The Republic of Texas were some of them. However, historians found out an interesting 'fact' about his life. After presidency, Jackson had a parrot named Poll and he spent most of his time with his lovely bird. In his funeral, Poll started to swear and curse people on the hall and according to Reverend William Menefee Norment book -"Andrew Jackson and Early Tennessee History"- it was the president himself who taught Poll these words. So, at the end it was good for parrot which was released at that time.
Grover Cleveland
Grover Cleveland is best known as the only president in history to be elected for two non-sequential terms. During his first election campaign his opponents released an information that he had an affair with a widow named Maria C. Halpin and had a child from her. Cleveland was honest about affair and told everything in campaign. He offered money to Maria for orphanage,as she wasn't eligible for care.Chants of “Ma, ma, where’s my pa? Off to the White House, ha ha ha!” became popular throughout the country. However, being honest helped Cleveland to be elected and even to write history.
Warren Harding
Though he was only 2 years in office, there were great arguments about his ancestors, because of rumour that Warren had black grandma. 20's were years in which "Jim Crow" laws reigned and some Afro-American communities started to believe that Warren is the first "Black" President of the US and it created a rage between American society. No one had an answer to this question at that time. This topic occured once again in 2008 when Barack Obama actually real afro-american President chosen. And finally modern technology revealed that he didn't have any black ancestors. Ü
