Zaporizhzhia Oblast Governor Yuriy Malashko said on Monday that four people were killed and another 11 hurt in a Russian airstrike on a residential area in the region's city of Orikhiv.
"Racists committed a war crime in front-line Orikhiv - they hit a guided aerial bomb during the delivery of humanitarian aid in a residential quarter," Malashko stated in a Telegram post. The official added that Russia conducted 36 targeted strikes "on 10 peaceful settlements" in the Zaporuzhzhia region and that 10 civilian objects have been damaged in the attacks.
Earlier in the day, Russia claimed it prevented several Ukrainian attacks on targets in the Crimea, Kaluga, and Rostov regions.
