Fifty people have been killed and hundreds of others injured in Gaza City as a result of Israeli airstrikes on two schools in the al-Darraj neighborhood, Ednews informs via Palestine News Agency WAFA.
The media added that the shellings were directed towards the Salah Ad-Din school, which is managed by the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), and the Martyr Assad Saftawi school. Both facilities were providing shelter to displaced people.
According to WAFA, the emergency medical teams are facing difficulties in reaching the schools to help the injured civilians due to the intense Israeli bombardment in the area.
