Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced in a Telegram post on Tuesday that their troops encircled the Gaza Strip's city of Khan Yunis during an "extensive operation."
According to the post, IDF forces deepened the operation there, as the area is a "significant stronghold of Hamas’ Khan Yunis Brigade," adding that they targeted dozens of "terrorist cells carrying RPGs."
It was also said that Israeli forces directed air strikes and "used intelligence to coordinate fire, resulting in the elimination of dozens of terrorists," while explaining that a huge amount of "ready-to-launch rockets, military compounds, shafts, and weapons" were located in these spots.
