The Hamas-controlled Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip said in its latest report on Monday that the total number of fatalities since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas has reached 38,193.
According to the ministry's estimates, the number of people wounded in the war-torn enclave since October 7 currently stands at 87,903.
Additionally, the health authorities said that Israeli strikes killed 40 and injured 75 people in Gaza in the last 24 hours.
