The number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing attacks of Israel against Hamas increased to 39,090, according to the daily update by the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
Completing 291 days since the resurge of the attacks, the ministry said the figure increased after 84 civilians died in the last 24 hours amid eight strikes perpetrated by Israeli forces that also left 329 wounded. The total of injured people since the beginning of the attacks passed 90,000 to reach 90,147.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli military said it destroyed 50 operational sites allegedly owned by Hamas in Gaza's southern city of Khan Younis while the death toll of this sole area after the evacuation order given on Monday climbed to 70.
