Member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, former President of the UN General Assembly Maria Fernanda Espinosa has presented a special poem dedicated to the great thinker Nizami Ganjavi and reflecting the harmony between a person and nature as part of the London Climate Action Week, EDnews reports.
In her speech, Espinosa emphasized that the works of Nizami Ganjavi express with deep philosophical precision the idea of human responsibility to nature and the need to live in harmony with the universe. "These messages are especially relevant today - in the era of the climate crisis," she noted.
London Climate Action Week is considered one of the key platforms for shaping the global climate agenda. Representatives of governments, international organizations, business and civil society participate in the events, which emphasizes the importance of collective efforts in the fight against climate change.
The Nizami Ganjavi International Center is a partner of the Climate Action Week for the second year in a row. The Center is actively involved in the development of climate diplomacy, sharing the experience gained during the preparation for COP29 in Azerbaijan and contributing to the COP30 process.
The poem presented by Espinosa became not just a literary work, but a call for reconciliation between a person and nature and collective responsibility for a sustainable future.
