The President’s Administration of Germany has apologized to Azerbaijan regarding a post shared on the country’s President’s social media profile. It is noted that the post displayed the flag of a self-declared regime, which is a relic of the past, and included a text that caused serious dissatisfaction from the Azerbaijani side.
Immediately, contacts between the two countries’ presidential administrations and foreign ministries began. The German side admitted that the post had been published by mistake and removed it immediately.
