In the liberated areas, 36 anti-tank mines, 35 anti-personnel mines, and 574 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were discovered and neutralized on April 21-27.
“EDnews” reports that this is stated in the weekly report of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) on humanitarian demining operations carried out in the liberated areas.
According to the report, 1925.4 hectares of land were cleared of mines.
It should be noted that the demining operations were carried out by ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and the State Border Service (SBS) and four private companies in the territories of Tartar, Agdara, Kalbajar, Agdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Shusha, Khojavend, Lachin, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan.
