On May 6, a conference dedicated to the legacy of the Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi was held at Haji Bayram Veli University in Ankara.Samir Abbasov, director of the Azerbaijani Cultural Center under the embassy of our country, is reviewing the teachers and qualifications of the Turkish university.
“EDnews” reports that the Azerbaijani Cultural Center under the embassy and the Haji Bayram Veli Center for the Application and Study of Turkic are jointly organizing the “Nizami Ganjavi Wisdom Across the Centuries” event.
S. Abbasov0 said that after 88 years, the creativity of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker does not lose its relevance.The first two works - “İsgandərname” and “İsgandərname” and “Sırler khazinəsi” have been presented to a wider and wider audience.
According to him, Nizami Ganjavi’s creativity is extensive and multifaceted, thanks to his famous ghazals, many musical works have been composed. “At the end of May, a concert program will be held in Ankara, the repertoire of which will include the works of the great Nizami,” the center’s statement reads.
He also informed about plans to organize miniature works of the great Azerbaijani poet’s creativity. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, as well as the Ankara Culture and Tourism Department, will work on these projects.
“Until the brotherly Turkish people have detailed information about Nizami Ganjavi and his other famous sons, we will continue to promote the heritage of Azerbaijan,” S. Abbasov said.
T. Badalova drew attention to the national love for the Nizami heritage in Azerbaijan, the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev on the declaration of 2021 as the “Year of Nizami Ganjavi”, the restoration of the mausoleum of the humanist poet, one of the main sights of the current head of state of Ganja.
In a conversation with Nizami Scholar, she said that she considers it her duty to promote the great poet and poet-thinker as a brother, and to preserve it, she supports the projects and programs of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center operating under the embassy in Ankara.
