Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan ink several agreements during Tokayev's state visit

Several documents were signed as part of the state visit of President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev following the talks, Eurasia Diary reports citing AKIpress.

The following documents were signed:

- Joint declaration of the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan;

- Comprehensive cooperation program for 2020-2022;

- Agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on construction of the new bridge and rehabilitation of the existing bridge linking Ak-Tilek and Kara-Suu border crossing checkpoints;

- Agreement between the State Service for Economic Crimes Combat of Kyrgyzstan and Financial Monitoring Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan on cooperation in fight against economic and financial crimes;

- Document on cooperation in logistics;

- Memorandum of understanding between the State Inspectorate for Environmental and Technical Safety and the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan on metrological supervision practice sharing;

- Agreement between the Investment Promotion Agency of Kyrgyzstan and KazakhInvest JSC;

- Agreement between the General Staff of Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan and the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan on landing and protection of military aircrafts at military airports of the armed forces of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan;

- Agreement between the Ministries of Health;

- Agreement on cooperation between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in migration.

The following resolutions were signed at the 5th session of the Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan Supreme Interstate Council:

- on further development of Kyrgyz-Kazakh bilateral cooperation;

- on border crossing points on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border;

- on cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
