"I am very pleased to be here and to sign this Memorandum of Understanding. Cooperation and solidarity is the answer to what we have done during the year," said Minister of Energy of Romania Virgil-Daniel Popescu at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the encouraging cooperation among Bulgaria's Bulgartransgaz, Romania's Transgaz, Hungary's FGSZ, Slovakia's Eustream and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan held today in Sofia, Ednews reports.
"After signing of the memorandum, we have a lot of things to do and have to. There will be challenges that we will face next winter. I think that this memorandum should keep its doors open for countries like Türkiye, Ukraine and Moldova. Of course, within the framework of this solidarity memorandum, we should also cooperate with them. We are facing big crises, but together we can overcome them," the minister said.
