The 1st Forum of European and CIS Postal Leaders will be held in Baku on May 13-15.The forum, dedicated to the theme “Next Horizons: E-commerce, Innovation and Supply Chain Navigation for Future Companies”, will bring together more than 150 participants from more than 30 countries.
Among them will be heads of national postal services, senior executives of e-commerce and technology companies, trade and industry experts.
EDnews reports that the event will be organized by the Universal Postal Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, as well as Azerpost.
The forum is a platform for regional discussions and issues, knowledge, experience and strategy for innovation. The discussions will focus on the transformation of the postal sector in response to global trends and digital challenges.The agenda includes topical topics such as the growing role of e-commerce in the postal network, digital transformation, the implementation of sustainable logistics practices, and addressing cybersecurity to maintain trust and security in postal operations.
The Forum’s strategy is to facilitate dialogue between industry leaders and stakeholders and to drive the development of strategies and innovative solutions for the future, in line with business requirements. At the same time, it will reaffirm the commitment of the IP to act as a regional development event and to strengthen international postal transport.
The Forum is expected to provide practical ideas to institutional postal operators to remain competitive and sustainable, and to adapt to the demands of the emerging digital economy.
