Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud (pictured) announced Monday the discovery of a total of seven oil and gas deposits in the Eastern Province and the sand desert known as the Empty Quarter, Ednews reports.
The discovery made by the Saudi Arabian Oil Company includes two unconventional oil fields, one Arabian Light Oil reservoir, two natural gas fields, and two natural gas reservoirs, as per the official statement.
In total, the sites have a capacity of approximately 28.9 million standard cubic feet of gas per day and 11,437 barrels of oil per day.
